The franchise that I chosen to research is MyRide Auto Grooming. it is a one-stop-solution auto grooming center that provide services of car washes, polishing, detailing, paint-coating/protection, upholstery detailing. Their headquarter is at Jalan Wangsa Setia 1, Wangsa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur and the name of the company is MyRide Holdings Sdn Bhd. MyRide Auto Grooming co-founders, Mr. Bryant Be also is the Chief Operating Officer and the other co-founder, Mr. Calveen Chou. MyRide Auto Grooming is the 1st franchise on car grooming concept in Malaysia. MyRide Auto Grooming also is the first Homegrown Auto Grooming Company to be awarded the Franchisor status with their successful and profitable business background. It has the lowest start-up cost for a proper franchise company and are ideal for everyone which zero experiences are needed.
Company’s Performance Record
For what I have research, the automotive detailing industries are getting in a heat now where there are over 31.14% of cars registration in August 2012 and it is only the statistics in Kuala Lumpur, which I haven add in other states. With the increasing amount of cars registration, you can see that the increasing demand in automobile grooming industry. Customers are getting more and more demand in the quality of their car’s cleanliness and neatness.
The Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of MyRide Auto Grooming, Mr. Bryant Be Yeh Ming started their first outlets at Taman Melawati and they have meet their difficulties at first but yet they hold on as they treated their business in automobile grooming as hobby and they love cars. Luckily, they have good mentors to lead them the pathways and slowly their business started to picking up and their second outlets are opened after a short while.
The idea of becoming a franchisor comes when Bryant and his co-founder, Mr. Calveen Chou wanted to expand their business. And now, they are the owner of the first car wash company in Malaysia to provide franchise opportunities and owned 8 outlets in just 5 years time.
